Alexia Kane is a Midwestern graphic designer with plenty of experience in the creative industry. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Communications and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 2021. In her personal work, she likes to explore digital media, the connection between digital and physical media, and visual art in relation to music. She currently resides in Omaha, Nebraska, with her partner and pets, and works for Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts as a Communications Associate.
I was approached to create the logo for KIRA 91.9, Omaha’s first community radio station. They were looking for something that both paid homage to their DIY, grassroots style approach while still feeling approachable to a midwestern audience.
